THIS WEEK...…

We ask that you remember as you pray for a Pastor for FBC...…

That you especially pray for God 's direction/or your Pastor Search Committee as they are actively searching for the next Pastor of FBC Tor C.

Pray that God will have one man truly stand out.

HAVE YOU DONE YOUR RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS?

A Challenge To YOU: August at FBC is going to be Random Act Of Senseless Kindness Month. Find some way during the month to show some act of senseless kindness that God leads you to do and remember it does not need

to make sense to others in the world, just to God!

Every ·week in this year of 2021, you will find in the bulletin: This Week We Are Thankful for...
So this week we are thankful for Ken Draper

Ken is always so willing to help greet, watch doors, usher, help to serve the Lord's Supper and help take up the offering. You might say he's a jack of all trades!

Thank you, Ken

From the Rio Grande Baptist Association office...

Valleyview Baptist Church has seen a need in Southern Cuidad Juarez, Mexico. The children have no shoes and are barefoot. It takes most of what the family earns just to feed them. We are asking churches in the association for help. We are holding a shoe drive and will be collecting shoes thru November. We have connections across the border that will distribute the shoes for us. Sizes range from toddlers to teens.

Pastor and Rosemary Underwood are on vacation August 10th thru August 25th. Filling the pulpit today is Stanley Wingard

Stanley is an Assistant Director at the NMSU Baptist Student Union/Christian Challenge and is originally from Hodgenville, Kentucky. His wife is from Santa Fe, NM. Stanley graduated with B.S. in Meteorology and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Western Kentucky University in 2008. He is also a graduate (2014) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft Worth, TX where he got an MAIS degree and met his wife.

Stanley is DAD to three sons, Oliver 7, William 2, James 10 months, and one daughter, Emeline 5 (all red heads).

Thank you, Mr. Wingard, and family for your willingness    to serve.
