THIS WEEK …

We ask that you remember as you pray for a Pastor for FBC...…

Pray for the Pastor Search Committee as they seek God's guidance and wisdom in the search for the Pastor for FBC of T or C.

*****************

October is Pastor Appreciation Month.

Let's all find some way to let Pastor Underwood know how much we appreciate all that he does.

Thank you, Pastor Underwood!

Every week in this year of 2021, you will find in the bulletin: This Week We Are Thankful for...

So this week we are thankful for Josh Baker

Josh is a detective with the Sierra County Sheriff’s Department and is part of our security here at FBC. Thank you, Josh, for your service at FBC and to Sierra County.

How You Can Help...…

We will be filling bags for the homeless students in our community that will be given out at the Thanksgiving Dinner that will be held at the church on Thanksgiving Day. We will need items such as: Toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, combs, hairbrushes, socks, chapstick etc.

We also need snack items such as: Granola bars, cereal bars, cheese crackers, small boxes of cereal etc.

Please bring items to the church by November 7th•

TEN THINGS THAT CHILDREN CAN TEACH US ABOUT WORSHIP

1. Don't sit down all the time move around.

2. Don't just listen, also look.

3. Be honest and admit that sometimes worship is boring.

4. Wear loose-fitting clothes to church.

5. Make notes and drawings on the church bulletin (then take it home and put it on the refrigerator door).

6. If something happens that is funny, laugh.

7. If something happens that is sad, cry.

8. Sit next to your friends in church.

9. Sing loudly even if you don't know the tune.

10. If you don't understand something, ask someone to explain it to you.
