THIS WEEK...…

We ask that you remember as you pray for a Pastor for FBC...…

Pray that the Pastor God has set aside for First Baptist Church of T or C will feel God 's calling him to FBC. Pray that his family will feel that call as well.

*****************

Christ did not come to do away with suffering;
He did not come to explain it.
He came to fill it with His presence.
Every week in this year of 2021, you will find in the bulletin:

This Week We Are Thankful for... So this week we are thankful for Kelli Marshall

Kelli has served in many different jobs here at FBC. She is a member of the Finance Committee, has seen to the floral and decorating needs for different events, has served as a Children 's worker And on and on and on...…

Thank you, Kelli, for your time and talents.

From the Rio Grande Baptist Association office...

Valleyview Baptist Church has seen a need in Southern Cuidad Juarez, Mexico. The children have no shoes and are barefoot. It takes most of what the family earns just to feed them. We are asking churches in the association for help. We are holding a shoe drive and will be collecting shoes thru November. We have connections across the border that will distribute the shoes for us. Sizes range from toddlers to teens.

Bring SOCKS as well!!

****************************

On the morning of September 11, 2001  2,976 people· from 93 nations lost their lives in New York, at the Pentagon and on Flight 93.

Today, we pause to remember that moment of horror and pray for those left scarred by those terrible events. We remember those who lost their lives and those whose lives were forever changed as they responded in

Iraq and Afghanistan.

In memory of Timothy Darwin Brown - lraq

Grandson of John and Helen Tate
