'Twas the night before Christmas in Bethlehem town, For Joseph and Mary not a room could be found! So Joseph and Mary kept wondering around, Till a dark dreary stable they finally found.
And it was there in that stable Mary gave birth, To Jesus the Messiah, our Savior on earth. In fields nearby, shepherds' did stay, Watching over their flocks both night and day!
Now that night an Angel of the Lord appeared unto them, And the Glory of our Lord shown all around them! And the angel said, "Shepherds be not afraid, In the city of David, your Savior is born today!" "Now hasten, go see for yourselves", the angel did say, "The little Lord Jesus in a manger is laid."
Now after the shepherds, Magi came from afar, Bearing gifts for the Savior, they followed His star! Now that night in Bethlehem the perfect gift lay, The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.
